Výstava Černá perla, sonda do ateliérů MeetFactory přibližuje a představuje na půdě Galerie Portheimka část uměleckého dění, které se odehrává v nedaleké MeetFactory - nejvýznamnější multioborové kulturní instituci na území Prahy 5 a skutečné perly na umělecké mapě Prahy. Jak podtitul výstavy napovídá, na výstavě můžete nahlédnout do ateliérů MeetFactory a objevit část z toho, co v nedaleké MeetFactory vzniká v oblasti současného vizuálního umění. Výstava prolínavým způsobem prezentuje dvě ateliérové skupiny - jednak tvorbu stálých rezidentů MeetFactory a pak také tvorbu autorů, kteří do MeetFactory jezdí na umělecké rezidence. Jde do určité míry o dva oddělené světy, které každý okupuje samostatné patro bývalé továrny na výrobu skla a později dieselových motorů. Na výstavě se tak představí 3 stálí rezidenti MeetFactory a 10 účastníků mezinárodního rezidenčního programu, který je největším rezidenčním ateliérovým programem v České republice.
