An auction of contemporary art to help Ukraine was organized on March 19, 2022 under the title Art for Ukraine by 4 Prague galleries - Bold Gallery, Trafo Gallery, The Chemistry Gallery and the DOX Center for Contemporary Art. The auction of works from 134 contemporary artists, which managed to auction in the amount of CZK 8,070,000, took place in order to support the SOS Ukraine People in Need collection, to which 100% of the proceeds are donated.
All works were exhibited at a pre-auction exhibition and also presented on the auction portal www.umeniproukrajinu.cz, where those interested in art could auction online from Thursday, March 10. The auction itself ended on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art and also online. The auctioneer of the auction was an experienced professional Milan Dospěl with the support of actress Hana Vágnerová.
