PF 2026 Creativity takes courage!

This year, we prepared eight exhibitions for you at Chemistry in Hall 40 of the Holešovická Tržnice,four group exhibitions at the Portheimka Gallery in Prague's Smíchov district, and three soloexhibitions at the Dům Radost in Žižkov. We presented contemporary Czech artists of theyoungest generation at prestigious international art fairs in London, Berlin, and Miami. Next year,we will start right at the beginning with our first participation in the Art Central art fair in Hong Kong, which takes place during the Art Basel Hong Kong fair. I am glad to see that contemporary Czech art can easily hold its own in international competition. Thanks to your support, we can presentCzech artists at these important international exhibitions and thus present Czech art in a relevantinternational context. This is the success I value the most. In addition, we have published four newcatalogs this year. And we have taken our latest start-up, which we are very fond of, ChemistryPrints, a step further. In addition to a busy gallery program, we are also preparing another editionof the Prague mural art biennial Urban Pictus for next year. And you have something to lookforward to—not only in the gallery, but also on the walls in the streets!

Thank you for allowing us to paint one of the pictures of contemporary Czech art together with youfor 17 years. I look forward to spending more moments together in the company of contemporaryart in 2026. I wish you good health, many reasons to be happy, and the courage to be creative inthe new year. Because creativity requires courage!
