Opening of a group exhibition by students who have studied at Lukáš Rittstein's sculpture studio

The exhibition THREE DIMENSIONS OF LOVE presents the sculpture school (Sculpture Studio I) led by Lukáš Rittstein at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 2013 to 2023. Under his leadership, the studio literally transformed into a laboratory where experimentation merged with traditional sculptural techniques. The exhibition will feature 40 sculptors who have passed through this studio, providing a representative overview of the contemporary Czech sculpture scene. The exhibition THREE DIMENSIONS OF LOVE at the Portheimka Gallery in Prague is the second stop in the exhibition trilogy, following the presentation at the Gallery of Modern Art in Roudnice nad Labem (October 2025 – January 2026) and preceding the final project at the Klatovy/ Klenová Gallery, which is being prepared for 2027. The exhibition trilogy is accompanied by a catalog with texts by Petr Vaňous, Martina Vítková, Pavlína Morganová, and Lukáš Rittstein, mapping the activities of the studio, its students, graduates, and interns, while also raising general questions related to the situation of contemporary young sculpture.
