Accept the invitation to a guided tour and launch of the catalog for our current exhibition: Jan Poš - Time Areas with the participation of the author and the artistic director of The Chemistry Gallery Petr Hájek. Jan Poš considers a work of art as an explanation of a specific situation. The author's site-specific installation, as well as the relationships of material objects and their 3D pre-images, define relational fields that are tied to specific gallery spaces. What is important is the author's reasoning derived from the principle of Cartesian simulation, i.e. from simulations that question our previous sensory experience in order to reach newly defined certainties. The basic principle in this direction is simulated processes taking place in time. Hence the name of the exhibition - Time Areas.
The exhibition can be visited until Saturday, April 15, 2023.
