It would be no less than simplifying to say that Tomáš Němec paints in the same manner all the time, as “same manner” not only refers to the repetition of form, but also to the repetition, or empt ying, of the contents. This, however, is not the case of Tomáš’s work. He basically does not need any other or “new” means to express the reliving of par ticular moments. The striking range of his means of expression, which includes spontaneous notes as well as an elaborate painting st yle, provides him with suf ficient space for the ar ticulation of his world, which, as such, might as well be our world.
