In the depths of the cave, where the first people once discovered the darkness illuminated by fire, the desire for connection, for ritual, for art, for self-expression, for freedom was born. Drums rumbled, fires danced on painted walls and the mind was bent under the influence of natural substances. This archetypal moment of indulging in collective ecstasy has now been reborn in the form of the modern rave. A space that gives us an even therapeutic possibility to disconnect not only from the problems of the surrounding world, but also from our own personality and to be one with others, shrouded in smoke and undulating in an almost sacral rumble. The light installations of today's rave parties are the heirs of those ancient fires, and DJs together with light creators are our current shamans and druids, priests who lead us through a night full of electronic rhythms, drums for our age.

The ELEKTROSALON group exhibition, subtitled From the Rave to the Gallery, presents the artists who developed in this fascinating environment. They started as visual makers or lighting people in the rave and club scene, where they had the opportunity to experiment, develop and grow. Growth in an original personality not only with a specific character, but also with its own visual signature. These artists, who mostly know each other and have already worked together, form a specific scene of light designers. Together they define one artistic direction in which they are each other's inspiration and rivals.

In the gallery space, these visual creators meet for the first time outside of a club environment. Some of them present their current thoughts and creations, while others look back and update their previously realized projects. The name of the exhibition ELEKTROSALON refers to the format of salon exhibitions, popular at the turn of the last century, and offers viewers the opportunity to look for common features and connections between individual authors.
