Zbyněk Sedlecký (born 1976) is a member of a generation of notable ar tists that emerged on the
Czech art scene around the start of the new millennium. His work tends towards figurativism – albeit a closer study of the evolution of Sedlecký’s output reveals a complex interplay of visual expression that goes far
beyond standard definitions of the aesthetic scope and range of categories such as “figurative” or “abstract”
painting.
