Dear art lovers,
allow us to invite you to the exhibition
Patrik Kriššák - Extinction
which takes place in Dom Radost, nám. Winstona Churchilla 2, Prague 3 until March 7, 2021. So there are only a few days left to go see the exhibition.
In the new series of paintings by the painter Patrik Kriššák prepared for the Extinction exhibition at Dom Radost, the artist reflects on the current ubiquitous climate anxiety, which also affects him as an individual. He doesn't try to be activist, but he puts a subtle ecological message into his paintings.
As the central theme of this cycle, he chose the ecosystem of coral reefs, whose extinction
as a result of the global changes we are currently facing (hence the name of the exhibition and the entire series Extinction). Through the images, he brings beauty closer, but also transience
and the fragility of underwater nature and points to the problem through positive rather than negative emotion.
The curator of the exhibition is Petr Hájek.
THE EXHIBITION IS A JOY TO SEE ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE HOUSE
EVEN FOR THE CURRENT SITUATION. RADOST HOUSE IS OPEN 24/7 (on the raised ground floor
is the reception desk).
